^Birth Plan
Consultation:
Clear, effective communication between you
and your health care providers is an important
step to insuring that your prenatal and
birthing care meet your expectations. By
developing a written birth plan, you are
able to clearly state your wishes to your
health care provider. They, in turn, are
able to clearly understand the type of care
you are requesting. Many health care providers
are happy to help their patients plan for
and achieve the type of birth they so desire.
Presentation is of key importance. A quickly
scripted, illogical outline written on a
scratch sheet of paper will not be well
respected and get the needed attention a
birth plan needs. A ten page dissertation
on your views of childbirth will not be
well received either. A thought out plan--
put together in logical progression and
in a presentable, attractive format will
get the attention and respect from your
medical staff that you so desire. Birth
Plan consultations may be scheduled for
help in writing birth plans or review of
written birth plans.
-
Highly
effective solutions for creating a workable,
professional looking and sounding birth
plan.
-
Review
of clients written birth plan to check for
correct usage of wording. Medical terms
used in childbirth will be evaluated for
correct usage in sentences and paragraphs.
-
Wording
that promotes "Win-Win", positive,
workable attitudes.
-
Coherent
order of events.
-
-
Sentence
structure and grammatical correctness.
-
Professional
layout and presentation.
